how can i back up my old ipad to my imac. It says to use iTunes but that doesn't exist anymore.

backing up iPhone iTunes files to iPad I am considering replacing my old Macbook Pro with a new iPad. I currently backup my iPhone 8 to my laptop. If you have a Mac running Catalina OS, you can use Finder.

Shouldn't be this case, iTunes can still run on older Macs
