I subscribe to Apple TV (one year) and I have the App on my Fire stick. I watched one episode of Billions and it tells me "In App purchases aren't allowed on this device...to wach here, you must have subscribed to an Apple device".
What;'s going on? Is anyone else as frustrated as I?
The TV show Billions is not part of Apple TV+. I think it is on Showtime, which may also be available as Apple TV app Channel. You may have seen a free teaser episode.
Apple TV+ is the streaming service featuring Apple Originals.
You can’t subscribe or make purchases from Apple/iTunes on Fire TV devices. There is currently no agreement between Apple and Amazon about in-app purchases (both ways). You will have to subscribe or purchase on a different device, then you can watch it on your Fire TV.
