Where is the iTunes GIFT button?

I have been trying to send a movie to a friend as a gift from the iTunes Store. I have tried using my MacBook Air and my iPhone 8. No obvious way to do it. Online support community directs me to this page: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201783 which instructs me to look for the GIFT button. I have searched high and low and can find no GIFT button anywhere. Where is it hidden? Is this an outdated instruction? Then why isn't the instruction page updated or removed? Is it no longer possible to send media to friends as gifts via Apple? Should I use the Amazon Prime or Chrome to do this in the future? Please advise. Thank you.

Are you sure you’re in the iTunes Store app on your phone, like all the instructions say? You can’t gift from the Apple TV app.

The movie I wish to gift, Lincoln, is available for sale OR rent. I also attempted to gift it from my iPhone with no luck. Please advise if ONLY movies that are ONLY available for sale are available to gift or if it is possible to gift a movie that is available for both sale and rental. Also, please advise how I may gift this movie from my iPhone. I found no GIFT button in the iTunes Store app on my phone either. Thank you.
