Hey so I have an Apple Watch series 4, today I'd like to talk about the water resistant feature, I have never exposed my Apple Watch to water on purpose eg swimming, there are a few questions I have

1. Apple's document on this ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205000 ) says that the feature wears off, id really like to know if you can check the status of how water resistant it is
2. Sea water, will it affect the watch differently if your swimming in salt water?
3. Any information about this feature will be appreciated I'm too scared to use it since I don't know not much about this feature, things like info on the "water mode" will be helpful.
