My husband died, I want to keep his photos on his iCloud

My husband died, I want to keep his photos stored on his iCloud, I've tried Apple Store, they put me onto the phone support, after 40 mins got cut off, the advisor was putting me through to a senior advisor. I have a icloud account

To access your late husband iCloud account you need his iCloud ID/Apple ID & password.
