Last played date not updating in iTunes

For the last week any songs played on my iphone via iMatch have not been updating the Last Played date in iTunes. Typically iTunes will sync this data daily but this has not been the case.

Try File > Library > Update iCloud Library. It might also help to reboot both phone and computer.

Play counts in iTunes not updating after syncing iPhone I'm running the latest version of iTunes on my PC under Windows 10 and the latest version of iOS on my iPhone SE (2nd generation). If I play a song from iTunes it updates "Last Played" and "Played" correctly. However if I play the same songs from my iPhone, it no loner updates these fields when I sync to iTunes. When I searched the community, I noticed this is a recurring problem from years back though it mostly involved syncing with iMacs. I believe iTunes is now only a Windows App and I am not subscribing to Apple Music or iTunes Match (though I briefly tried and cancelled both to solve a different problem). Any ideas?

Play counts and last played dates iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14.4.1, iTunes for Windows 12.11.0.26 The option for "Use Music history" has disappeared from my phone and now the play count, last played dates, etc are not updating. This is upsetting as i have 2 Smart playlists that require this information. Was this option removed, can i get it back some how, or is there some other way to update this info?

iTunes Match - iPhone ratings and history not syncing to Mac Hi all. I used to have iTunes Match many years ago and have recently subscribed again, however, now my iPhone 8 iOS 16.7.1 is not syncing the tracks' Last Played history data to my Mac Mini M2 Sonora's Music app. If I create a Playlist or rate a track on my phone it is instantly mirrored on my Mac so I want to know why the Last Played data is not updating on my Mac and if there is anything I can do to assist it. Thanks
