Any chance this pencil will ever be compatible with IPad Air (Gen 3 model) which has the magnetic charging strip on the side?

Those 3 magnetic dots on the side of the iPad Air 3 are for connecting an Apple smart keyboard cover and NOT for using the newest Apple Pencil 2.

Hello,

iPad Air (3rd generation) does not have a magnetic induction charger strip as found in USB-C equipped iPad Pro models.
