I customised my Touch Bar for Finder and can't change it back!

When I set up my new Macbook Pro 15" nearly a year ago I customised the touch bar and for Finder only, it shows the F1 etc. keys. But I frequently want access to the default touch bar icons and can't change it back. When I click on View (in Finder) the Customise Touch Bar isn't clickable.

Help! It's driving me nuts!

Thanks!

Hi BB1986,

I understand you are unable to customize the Touch Bar.

I would recommend ensuring your Mac is up to date. You can learn how to do so here: How to update the software on your Mac.

I would also recommend reviewing this article: Customize the Touch Bar on Mac.

It states, 'You can’t customize buttons for all apps.'

Hope this helps!
