Touch Bar Editing

I've essentially always hated the Touch Bar for my MacBook Pro 2020. All I care to use are the display brightness, keyboard brightness, and volume control. The rest of these functions, I couldn't care less about them. I want to have the only 3 features I use always in the same spot, and I'd prefer to not have to expand the control strip every time I want to go up or up down one notch on something. Is there a way to do this and get rid of the app buttons/typing suggestions. I'm a simple person with simple needs. There's got to be a way to keep this simple.
