“WavesLicenseEngine.bundle” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.

Aaargh.

Opened Logic this morning and none of my songs will load. I get a couple of errors to do with the Waves libraries and the licence bundle (the one in the question title). All my plugins are legitimate. I can open a blank song and use non-waves plugins but as soon as I try to open a Waves one it all kicks off...

Any ideas? Latest OS 10.15.5 and a mixture of Waves V9, 10 and 11 plugins. All working yesterday.

Bryan -

I had this same problem using ProTools (2020.5.0) upgrading to OS10.15.6. For me, the thing that fixed it was...

1 - allowing finder/protools to move “WavesLicenseEngine.bundle” to the trash like it was suggesting during launch, then quit ProTools after it loads.

2 - I opened Waves Central (11.0.60), selected all plugins and pushed the "Install and Activate" button.

3 - On my next ProTools launch the problem was fixed ( I can see that a new “WavesLicenseEngine.bundle” was created in the same location)

Hope this helps,
