Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

After using migration Assistant to move data from my old imac to a new one when I try to open my new Mac the apple appears with the startin bar below and the bar moves until the end point. But the apple desk top does not appear.

After using migration assisat to move data from my old Mac to a new Mac when I try to boot the new Mac the apple logo appears with the progress bar beneath it. The progress bar reaches the end of its path but everything stops and the dektop never appears?

1. Start up from macOS Recovery

To start up from macOS Recovery, turn on your Mac and immediately press and hold one of the following combinations on your keyboard. Command-R is generally recommended, especially if you never installed macOS Sierra 10.12.4 or later… https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904#notupdated

Command (⌘)-R

Install the latest macOS that was installed on your Mac.
