iPhone 8 Plus headphones not playing stereo, only the right channel plays

Subject line says it all... I've tried restoring to factory spec, resetting any audio settings, even the one in Accessibility to no avail.

it was working yesterday, 6-18-2020, but now this has cropped up. I've NOT changed anything overnight!!

Wired headphone problems So lately I’ve been trying to use my headphones to do things like listen to music, take calls, etc… And I’ve found that when there is no audio output my iPhone XR will show that headphones are connected, but after a few seconds of media playing through the headphones the phone will automatically switch to loud speaker, without pausing the media like it usually would. I have the apple wired headphones so there’s no cross branding, and everything was fine a couple of days ago. is there a way to fix this? is this a problem on apple’s end? will the world be taken over by toast? we may never know…

Headphones not working on IPhone 8 plus My headphones stopped working on my iPhone 8 Plus and when I plug them in my phone doesn’t recognize it. It’s doesn’t even pop up when I check Airplay with my headphones in. I cleaned out my port and restarted my phone a couple times and I’m not sure if this is a port issue cause my charger still works fine when I charge it. So I don’t know what the issue is.

Even my Jive miniPods earbuds only play the right channel...
