RAM data integrity check fail

RAM data integrity check fail after replacing factory installed RAM with Axiom MC448G/A-AX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1066 SODIMM Kit for Apple iMac series. On power up, computer issues three tones separated by five second pause (RAM not recognized). Tried with two new sets of RAM, resetting chips, restarting, etc., no improvement.

Yes, RAM is brand new. After researching the axiomupgrades.com site, found correct part number to be MC016G/A-AX for my early 2009 24 in. iMac. Will exchange the parts and retry. Thank you for responding.
