Battery increased size and deformed macbook pro mid-2015 chassis

I was in an apple store to ask for a defective battery in my macbook pro mid-2015 that has increased in size and deformed the chassis on top and bottom of the keyboard, the screen doesn't closed correctly. I was on the phone with apple support and they want to charge me for a product defect I didn't know until recently, because warranty ended one year ago.

How can I repaired it? Or I just use my computer as it is?
