Apple TV 3 - Verification code error

I get a vertification code select yes on apple TV and it takes me back to entering in my apple ID. I have tried entering the code after my apple ID but it then says my apple ID is incorrect. I cannot remove the vertification code. What do I do now?

Apple TV gen 1 unable to input access verification code After resetting configuration, I'm trying to sign in to my Apple TV box. I successfully receive the verification code in my authorized device, however I get a message on the Apple TV "An Apple ID verification code is required to sign in. Type your password followed by the verification code shown on your other devices". What should I do??

Apple TV not connecting with verification code Hi I'm trying to log in to my Apple TV (I think it's a 2) it asks for my Apple ID and password then says that I need to add the verification passcode after my password, but when it asks to save the password for future purposes it just says not recognised and I have to start again, I've been trying this ofr 45 mins now. my verification code is xxx xxx do I need to put in the space? I've tried both ways and neither works thanks

Hello,

This sounds like it is related to Two-Factor Authentication. You will need to generate a secure code from another device and type it after your password. Example: password123456
