I wonder if it is possible to apply standard VST or AU plugins from my computer for processing FCP audio (that are normally installed and used by audio applications). Since I noticed that FCP scanned all these plugins in the beginning, I suppose it knows about them but I can't find how to open them for audio processing there.
You are showing the Inspector. That is not what I meant. The Inspector shows the effects that have already been applied to a clip.
Click the Effects browser, then look under Audio:

Can you somehow open the audio in a full window to edit ?
What audio? Audio clip? Audio in video? Audio in project? Audio in browser? You can select a clip and use Clip>Open Clip.
