iPhone 7 microphone disabled/ calls failed!!!

This has happened to me and it’s horrible I can’t send videos or take voice notes, I also can’t give calls or receive calls which is extremely hard since a call could be really important. And especially if I leave/ go out, I can’t contact anyone. My phone isn’t damaged it has had a crack in the corner for months and I will have had my phone 2 years this august. I don’t want to buy a new phone because I’ve taken great care of it, I just woke up one day and it wasn’t working but no one knows how to fix it? I can’t even call Apple to talk about it?

Hi Folzarr58,

That is very odd, but lets do some basic troubleshooting for starters,

First, have you tried force rebooting your phone?

Press and hold both the volume down button and the Sleep/Wake button.
When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

After that if that does not do anything, I strongly would advise a possible restore, Save your data to iCloud and fire up a restore with iTunes. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204184
