Hello,
I set up my Apple TV 4K just today to my Home Cinema. I can hear audio when playing a video (from Photos), when watching a YouTube video and I can hear the UI sounds. However I can’t hear a Movie or TV Show when it is playing.
My projector has built in audio and it does in fact work as I can hear the above sounds.
Can someone tell me why Movies and TV Shows don’t output any sound?

It seems to have fixed itself. I changed the audio to Stereo from Dolby and it’s fine now.

This is just a small possibility but is your Apple TV possibly AirPlaying to another source or trying to when a movie is playing?
I'm curious which you swipe down when a movie is playing and go to the audio tab, what that says is its source
Also, may I know what model your projector is?
While a movie is playing have you checked where the sound is outputting?

Yes, it’s HDMI. All other sounds output from there. (such as UI, other applications and Movie Menus).
