I lost my "iCloud Drive" access icon on the "Favorites" menu and can't figure out how to retrieve it.

MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.11

In finder - under favorites section you right clicked the iCloud Drive icon and clicked on remove from sidebar , it disappeared .

Open finder preferences > in the sidebar > check the box of iCloud Drive , the iCloud Drive icon will appear under iCloud section as ( the default location of it is always in iCloud section ) .

Further you can again drag and drop in favourites .

Unfortunately, the problem has taken a turn for the worse.

My very old Mac Pro has ceased to function.

Fortunately, I have a new Mac Air to fall back on.
