I can't sign in my Apple ID even with the correct password.

I tried signing into my apple ID on my iPhone but when it asks for my phone passcode, it also asks for my old one. After answering both, it still won't let me sign in because there was an error in verifying it or there's a problem connecting to the server. What do I do? I need to sign in to get my notes but it won't let me.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

See If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201400. There have been quite a few Apple server connection problems lately. Among other things, in the above document, see Check Apple’s System Status page. You can check there to see if the needed server is available when you need to use one.

And, given the recent connection problems, I suggest you use my search link in trying to solve your problem unable to connect to apple server. You will see a number of links that are, or may be, related to your problem. But, I have not seen a definitive solution for it.

Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device.

If necessary

Hard reset.

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting.

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
