I thought this phone was water resistant. I happen to have my phone in water for about 1 min. The results is the phone keeps turning off, no vibration and some lines appear on the screen. Can someone help me out with this?

Water damage is not anything you can fix yourself as it fires hardware. You’ll need to get that device replaced.
Water resistance is never a guarantee against water damage. All it means is your’s is more likely to survive water exposure than a non-resistant device would be. But water damage is always a possibility.
