Have late 2014 iMac running Catalina 10.15.5. WiFi network of 3 A. Extremes. Cat5e cable from primary AE to switch, the to 2 AEs and 2 TVs. Better to use cable vs WiFi for streaming?
A wired connection is always simpler, faster and more reliable than a WiFi connection, so you would want to go that route if at all possible.
