Smart cover
I have a new Smart Cover for my iPad Pro 9.5”. The magnet on the spine isn’t holding well. Is this a common issue? Should I return it?

For expectations, if you've not used a Smart Cover before: the magnets are barely strong enough to carefully lift the iPad by the cover, and I'd not recommend trying that.
Ensure that the Smart Cover is for the correct one for your iPad.
Check that there's no debris on the cover magnets.
Then you'll want to discuss this with the folks that work for Apple.

Contact the folks at Apple Support. Seems you might have gotten a dud, or somehow gotten the wrong cover.
Thanks, yes it’s just a replacement. I’ve had these since the first iPad came out, but never had one with such weak magnets. The last section of the flap isn’t connecting and the spine keeps popping off. I was just wondering if this is a common issue.
