Changing my sons SIM card to my old 7. How can I fix the issue of it asking for my old information

Perhaps this will help: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201365

You need to log in first with your AppleID, then remove the activation lock. Then you can erase and reset, and finally log in with the other user's AppleID.


If you are locked out of your Apple ID account you can go to https://iforgot.apple.com

This will provide you with the recovery steps you put in place for this situation.
