Question

Several app icons are partially hiding behind the grey bar at the top and bottom of my home screen. I cannot use the - they don’t open or move.

Perhaps you have Zoom enabled. Check:

Settings>Display & Brightness>Zoom = STANDARD

and/or: Settings>Accessibility>Zoom = DISABLED

when done, restart your iPhone and test it.

I went to Settings, Accessibility, Zoom, and turned Zoom off, but when I restarted the phone the grey Bars were still there.
