spotlight

My spotlight/ magnifying glass button on the menu bar just quit working. any ideas how to fix it?

Spotlight doesn't work Hello everyone, If this question was already answered please direct me to the solution. At some point Spotlight stoped responding, the icon is in the menu but is not responding when pressed, Command + Space is not working. However Spotlight in Finder and Launchpad is fine. Also if loged in as a Guest user everything works. Please help find a solution. current MacOS: 13.5.2 (22G91)

mark up tool bar The markup toolbar no longer shows on my touch bar! The emojis no longer show up on touch bar either. All that is showing is screen brightness, keyboard brightness, and volume controls. Can anyone help?.

Does cmd-space still open Spotlight?

If not, something is keeping Spotlight from opening.

Try booting into Safe Mode and see if it works. Then, restart normally and see if it works.
