Is it safe to do a full reset and restore?

I've backed up my iPhone SE's (1st gen) data thru iTunes, is it safe to do a factory reset then restore my data using iTunes?

Yes, it is! But if you've never done this before it might be a good idea to read this article from Apple Support:

If you encrypted the iTunes backup make sure that before doing the factory reset you've remembered the password! (Without a password there is no way to access an encrypted backup!) Otherwise first make a new backup without encryption! Hope this helps you! Regards, Ian.
