iTunes Media Services

iTunes Media Services is using a lot of data. How do I fix this?

So far I've done the following:

Settings / Cellular / iTunes Store (Off) & Music (Off)

Settings / iTunes & App Store / Automatic Downloads (Off)

Settings / Music / Cellular Data (Off)

Itunes Media Services I have been suffering with high cellular data usage. The iTunes Media services has consumed 6,5GB cellular data in only 1 night while in my home with a wifi network available. This happened on my new XR device, this device has the same settings as my previous 6S, which never consumed this kind of data. To my opinion are all settings related to cellular data consumption set to avoid situations like this What can i do to prevent this from happening again, and how to check if all settings are set correctly? Why does apple music use way too much cellular data I have recently decided to try apple music instead of spotify, mostly because of the audio quality. I understand that with better audio it uses more data but it's ridiculous. I have everything set to a minimum and it still uses almost 4-5 times more data than spotify? How is that possible Heres some screenshots of how much data it used for the same exact song on both streaming services, spotify is on data saver mode and apple music is on high efficiency And here are my settings Am I doing something wrong? I've already downloaded my main playlist so I can listen to it offline but if I want to listen to new music it's just going to eat all of my data and it's just not worth it.

Apple Music data usage extremely high I gave it a try to Apple One considering all the services that you can get in bundle. I was paying iCloud Storage 2TB and Apple TV separately. But after thinking twice I decided to try Apple One to get Apple Music and Arcade at the same time. I even cancelled Spotify as my music streaming service. But....once I started using Apple Music using my cellular data, I realized that AM uses excessively data. I am considering cancelling the service. I read on this discussion communities, forums and other posts about this same problem and some ways to reduce the data consumption. BUt none of the solutions really worked. I changed the quality to high efficiency, no art download, no download over cellular data, no lossless. In no more than 20 minutes using apple music (no radio) it sucked about 300 MB. This is so extreme. I tried everything recommended and it did not solve the problem. I was wondering if this is an unsolved bug since I can see posts by users since a couple of years back. What do you recommend me to do? Should I go back to Spotify? Take a look at my settings.

Turn off iCloud Music Library --> Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support

Turn off iTunes Match --> Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support

Turn off WiFi Assist (see the pic below)

I turned off "Sync Library."

I do not subscribe to iTunes Match.

WiFi assist is off.

I'm still experiencing the same issue. I went as far as deleting iTunes; however, the issue persisted. Any additional advice is greatly appreciated.
