Hi, so I can manage to connect my google home max via bluetooth on the Apple TV, but next day it has disconnected and I need to repair it.
Is there a way I can have it perminetly connected?

Bluetooth speakers are intended as temporary ad hoc configuration, and Apple TV would not default to it. A wired solution is recommended for semi-permanent setup (along with better quality). Additionally, it makes much more sense to connect speakers to the TV or receiver, for use beyond the Apple TV box.

Is your speaker close enough to the Apple TV?
Is the speaker near to a wifi-router, cordless phone, USB 3 port or amplifier of some kind?
I ended up opening up the TV and hard wireing an audio jack to the TV's internal speaker output, worked, painful solutions but problem resolved.

Thanks for the Info and I had a feeling that might be the case.
I would love to run that audio out to the speaker (Which I have) but there is no control of the volume button from the TV or Apple remote. I tried the RCA's on the back output as well as the headphone jack.
If I go via bluetooth as above though the volume button works from the apple remote which is ideal. I checked all the TV / Apple settings but I am at a loss now and not sure how to do this unless I open up the TV and make a AUX adaptor from the TV speakers. TV is Panasonic Plasma TV TH-P50V10A.
