Using Apple Mail inside GMAIL (Treat as Alias)

How can I set up my Apple mail to be used inside the Gmail platform. I want to treat my email axxxxxxx@me.com as an alias in Gmail. I want to use only the Gmail platform to send, read, reply and sort all my emails. I have tried to configure it and I get the following error.

Authentication failed. Please check your username/password.

Server returned error: "535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed , code: 535"

My password is 100% correct. So I have no idea what is the issue.

Does anyone know how to configure this? Thanks in advance

You need an app specific password for Google to see your iCloud data.
