USB drive causing Finder to stop responding

Hi, my Kingston Data traveler 100G3 has been causing Finder to stop working when ever it is plugged in. When I try to erase this USB it makes disk utility stop responding. Any possible solutions?

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.15

Finder freezing while copying files from external sources. Hi everyone, I've currently purchased a second hand MacBook Pro ( 2011 i7 16gb ram High Sierra ) Everything works great on it but for some strange reason when I try to copy files over whether that be an external hd or usb stick it is freezing as it gets up to 200mb or below. Its reading data fine but strangely freaking out when trying to copy data over 🤷🏻‍♂️ Btw, Ive tried copying over in safe mode with the same results.

Throw it out and get a new one.
