How to completely delete a playlist on Apple Music?

I created a few playlists over the years that I've used Apple Music and after a time I decided to delete almost all of them. I went the natural way and it only deleted from my iCloud Library but if I search for my name it appears all of them again. How can I erase them for good so not only me but no one else can add them to their library?

iPhone X, iOS 13

Hi, euCelso.

Thank you for reaching out on the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re wanting to remove the playlist that you created and shared in Search, but you’ve already deleted the playlist from your Apple Music library.

When you create a playlist, you have the option to choose to “Show on My Profile and in Search”. You can edit the playlist at any time to disable this feature and remove it from your profile or search options. However, if you’ve already deleted the playlist, you may no longer be able to manage the feature that allows them to be searchable.

Go to “For You” and tap on your account icon in the top right. Tap your profile on the top next, and then “Edit”. Do you see your playlists under Shared Playlists here? If so, try deleting them from here. If not, you may not be able to manage the feature that allows them to be searchable any longer.

We suggest you contact Apple Support to see if there are other options.

Cheers.
