iPhone SE 2020 randomly shuts off

My iPhone SE 2020 recently randomly shuts off for two times. My OS is updated and there is no physical damage. I wander if anyone has the same problem and what could be the reason.

iPhone SE, iOS 13

I am getting the same issue . When battery is below 50%, it goes black giving no feedbacks. When I press and hold start button the logo comes and It shut down. If I try to start, it will show plug to power display. When I connect charger it starts again and battery is as same as before . I’m like WTH now

My iPhone SE2020 powers off randomly and intermittently for no reason requiring a full power reset. Phone 5 months old.

Tried all the fixes suggested on communities, youtube and also done a factory reset.

Phone returned to John Lewis/Apple Repair Centre for diagnostic/repair twice, returned no fault found. The problem still occurs.

The inherent fault is not being diagnosed. Fast losing confidence in Apple and the retailer. Requesting replacement!

Yeah, had this problem a little bit with my SE 2020, though not as bad as some other people have described. It's been 7 months since I got it, only happened twice, and it rebooted immediately. I've only ever used OEM chargers, and I have been keeping up to date. I haven't had the speaker problems people have been describing. Also, I know for sure that for me it doesn't have anything to do with the charger, or a bad battery, as the battery lasts for days (with moderate to minimal use), and the second time my battery was at 98%, and it just randomly shut off in my hand. Honestly though, why doesn't apple address this problem???

The unexpected shutdown on my iPhone SE Gen 2 fault resulted in 3 returns to Apple over a period of 2 months.

The phone has now been replaced with no issues since. Apple blamed fault on software however the replacement phone has been working successfully using same software.

The root cause of the fault is more probable to be an intermittent system circuit defect. This would not be detected with a static bench diagnostic test that Apple undertakes.

Shame that Apple puts their customers through all the inconvenience before replacing defective iPhone SE 2020 devices.

My iPhone SE 2020 had the same defect after 5 months. It was returned two times to Apple certified service but problem remained.

Finally replaced after third return to Apple direct with a great inconvenience to me as the whole process took two months.

Apple do not care about their customers and will use excuses not to offer a replacement unless you stand your ground! Shame on Apple!

The replacement supplied has operated satisfactory over past 6 weeks.

Update: I never got my SE 2020 replaced as the tests that Apple do are just standardised tests and don't run it through the scenarios that (in my experience) are the ones that trigger these shutdowns and popping sounds:

Neither the Apple technicians nor third-party (Apple approved) repair shop technicians listen to anything you say, no matter how well you phrase it. They just have a set list of tests they put it through, and if nothing comes up then it's no dice. I even had to pay a $40 because warranty doesn't cover when the iPhone is deemed to be in perfect condition.

I gave up on replacements and learned to live with the rebooting and to only use 5W chargers, no fast or wireless charging.

But now the issues seem to have resolved themselves. There is no more random rebooting when charting and no "popping" sounds coming from the speakers. I can even fast charge or charge wirelessly with video or audio playing as it's charging, and no rebooting or popping sounds occur now.

This maybe due to the fact that my battery is more worn now. beyond the first 500 charging cycles and down to 90-92% of its original capacity. Or maybe an update fixed it along the way? I have no idea.

It's silent and doesn't reboot by itself anymore, so I'm happy.

Yeah mines stopped with that issue, but instead would just shut off. Found out I needed to force restart and that fixed jt, but it kept happening. This was when I was on holiday and I’ve come back and I haven’t had any issues. I’ve never used fast charging, and only used wireless once or twice, as I don’t have a charger but it seems strange that issues have just disappeared
