"No location found" for friend in Find My on iPhone

I have updated to IOS 14.2, find my also no location found unless I back home & use home wireless line just show the location

This problem is still happening. 14.2.1. Was not like this a couple of days ago. Can see locations of contacts under “Devices” but not under “People” in Find My. Displays “No location found” under People. Have restarted, and religiously keep all apps closed.

Having the same exact issue. Find my phone was working a few weeks ago and now all it shows is “no location found” for all people on my friends list of devices. Nothing has been touched other than an OS update on my end. And I’ve checked settings to ensure I am sharing location.

its infuriating that Apple are not fixing this bug in the software when so many people have the same issue since the iOS 14 updates ... the metrology they keep posting doesn’t fix the problem

No this is not the fix. Again, nothing has changed on my iPhone. Location Services is always on. The only thing that has been changed is that my iPhone was updated about 3 weeks ago with the new iOS. And I have gone in after the update to verify that all settings are still set properly.

This is a problem on APPLE'S end. Please fix it, as I can no longer track my family locations.

I have had this issue since upgrading from iPhone 11 Pro (on latest IOS) to iPhone 12 mini. At the same time the problem has also moved to iPad & iMac using same AppleID. So frustrating for users. Apple: please acknowledge and get a fix quickly.

Did you ever fix this issue? I just woke up and checked find my iphone and no locations were being shown for any of my devices except my phone. Just says no location for my air pod, my moms phone, and my dads phone. My parents didn’t do anything and they don’t even know how to change location/find my iphone settings, so i have no idea what’s happening here. Any help would be appreciated

I have same problem after traded in my old phones for iPhone 12. The problem for me is kind of unique. My wife’ phone and my phone are appear on the “Find My”; however, the 2 phones my kids use are not appear on my phone or my wife’s phone. I have tried all suggested steps but no prevail. I even reinstalled my phone but no success. Don’t know what to make of the problem. Hardware? Software?

Issue of Find My also problematic with iOS 14.3 - even upon following all online and Apple suggestions, "No location found" for all people in "find my" no longer available - this is clearly an Apple issue, and hopefully resolved within the next iOS update.

Very frustrating when so called improvements are made and changes to iOS take away features and functions we have grown to depend on. I and many others are loyal Apple consumers, I feel we all deserve better than the online runaround to resolve issues that are suggested and recommended without positive results. I do appreciate those who at least try and make the effort - however Apple tech does need to step up when changes to iOS fail.

I spent an hour on the phone with Apple Support technicians. It was a pleasant session, even though the issue was not resolve. The second technician collected some analytical data to send to their engineers. He said he will follow up with me on Wednesday. To my surprise, a moment later after the conversation, the issue on “Find My” was resolved. All our phones are now linked on Find My.

Welcome Coxy68 - The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh, I have just reviewed the 14.4 release notes - you are right, no mention of issue acknowledgement or pending fix for "Find My". b4uabb has mentioned Apple awareness of "Find My" current issues, looking forward to his Upcoming Apple response.

Interesting to note Android world wide sales are back on an upward sales trend - Louis Rossman may have another chuckle when he reviews the upcoming update - lol

iOS 14.4 includes the following improvements for your iPhone:

• Notifications for when the camera on your iPhone is unable to be verified as a new, genuine Apple camera in iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max

All of my contacts on my list automatically update their locations save one — the one that was newly added with both of our devices being up to date with 14.4

Honestly, it’s pretty sad that Apple had a great app working consistently for so long only to be ignoring the issue that is the SOLE PURPOSE of the Find My app!!! Seriously?!?!?
