I. Start Here:

• If your Mac doesn't Turn on - Apple Support
• If your Mac doesn't Start Up All the Way Apple Support
• Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Then, a Few More Thoughts:

1. Hold down the power button for 5 seconds
2. Unplug an external video device (i.e. monitor, projector, television, etc)
3. Hold down the shift key upon boot to get into Safe Mode

You may have to look closely, but can you see the backlight illuminated on your notebook's screen or is it completely black?
