If you bought it in monthly installments with the Apple Card and are not paying the full due amount each month you will get interest charges on the over due amounts. The monthly installments when paid on time are interest free. That is if the iPhone cost $1000 and you pay in 6 months, you would need to pay $166 each month. That ads up to $1000. If you pay less than that, the over due a mount incurs interest.

Other monthly installments may charge interest directly on the price of the device so you end up having to pay more over time. instead of $1000, you end up paying $1200. They may be fixed installments but still have interest calculated in.

You need to pay the full due amount each month to avoid interest on Apple Card. you don't get chaerged a late fee, but you will incur interest on overdue amounts.
