So I deleted 3.5 GB messages (with photos) from my iphone/ipad but they didn't come off iCloud. Now what?
I had turned off messages in my phone when I started running out of iCloud storage and it was off when I deleted the messages from my phone. I turn it back on hoping iCloud would catch up!
I have and iPhone 7 and iPad Air running ios 13.
This is not solved! iCloud briefly showed my regaining the 3.5 GB of space yesterday but now it is again used for messages which are no longer on my devices! What the dickens! Please help me. I do not need more storage.

Lordy, I had a brain storm! I turned off messages on both my iPhone and my iPad and had only reinstated it on my iPhone. Everything synced as soon as I turned iCloud messages on on my iPad!
