I want my ATV to turn off while streaming after a set period of time. I use this to fall asleep and I don’t want the ATV streaming and using data all night. Is it capable of this? It seems like a straightforward feature that’s built into every TV, so I’m not sure why it would be incapable of this feature.

Some apps may have a built-in timer (“Are you still watching?”), but the Apple TV box will not go into sleep mode while actively streaming.
