XDR Monitor Dark Spot

I'm having a couple of issues my XDR monitor the I am concerned about. One is that it normally doesn't wake from sleep and to get it on I have to unplug and replug the TB3 cable or reboot. I've inquired about this in a previous post so I won't divulge further into here.

The other issue I'm experiencing is I've noticed a dark spot in the screen. It's hard to see if you look directly at it but is easy when you use a bit of your peripheral vision. I just noticed it but am a bit concerned and wanted to see if this is something others are experiencing as well.
