Internet Recovery -1008F Error

I am trying to start the internet recovery. It takes for it approximately 20 minutes to finish and gives me an error just saying "-1008F" error. I am sure that my internet connection is stable and working fine. Why won't it complete successfully?

If you can't complete the steps above because your Mac doesn't start up all the way, you can turn off Activation Lock by erasing your Mac as follows. Erasing your Mac permanently deletes all of its files.

  1. Use another device to sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.
  2. Click Find iPhone.
  3. Choose your Mac from the list of devices. If you don't see a list of devices, click All Devices at the top of the page.
  4. Click Erase Mac , then follow the onscreen instructions.
  5. After the erase completes, take either of these actions on your Mac:

It says the "erase request is pending" and the mac will be erased when it connects to the internet. All of the key combinations take me to the internet recovery loading page again. Should I start the internet recovery process again? Because all of the key combinations mentioned in the link that you've sent do exactly the same thing and open the same screen which is internet recovery loading page. Besides it says the mac is currently offline even though it is trying to start the internet recovery.
