I am no longer able to log into my Apple ID or iCloud accounts from my phone settings. I can’t even access anything to do with either one and my iCloud mail icon has disappeared and when I tried to download it again it won’t let me. What is going on?
What happens when you try? Error message(s)?
Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try a forced restart.
If necessary
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.
Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
When you say "isn't 'lit up,'" do you mean is greyed out? If yes, I can't guarantee a fix, but see:

A post in this thread says: "I just found the reason for my Apple ID Settings being greyed out. When I disabled Restrictions, my Settings became enabled and I was asked to update Apple ID Settings. S O L V E D..."

Note that these documents tie in with Eric Root's question above: Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?
when I go to settings anything to do with my Apple and iCloud account has lighter typing and isn’t “lit up” like everything else is that my phone is allowing me to access. Yesterday my AppStore icon disappeared and when I tried to download it again from safari it kept saying “invalid address” from every site that offered the app. And today my iCloud emails are no longer on my phone and I can’t do anything that’s related to iCloud. Have I hit something in my settings that would have caused all this??

That was it! I had changed the privacy and content restrictions. Thank you sooooooo much! It was driving me crazy trying to figure out why I was shut out. You’re my hero!!!!!
