Apple Support

Does Apple Support ever call and tell you that your iCloud account is being used over seas? I got a phone call this morning from "apple support" claiming that my iCloud account has been accessed several times over seas, then told me not to bother logging onto my account and that they would help me fix it. The guy sounded like he was from India, based off his accent.

I logged on and changed my password to something stronger. I also looked at what devices are connected to my iCloud account. I didn't notice anything strange.

So does Apple Support ever call? Or would Apple had sent me an email if they saw anything suspicious?

Hello!

Apple would never call you, unless you request a call from them through getsupport.apple.com.

If you ever received an email that looks like it might be from Apple, it may be a scam. Apple would never ask for any personal information, for example.
