Is there anyway to adjust the trackpad so you don't have to press so hard for a click?

I'm use to a very light touch of a tap that will execute the cursor command. I hope so....this ***** as is.

Magic Keyboard Does Not Scroll Hello! My issue has been happening on and off since a couple months after I got my iPad air (4th gen) and magic keyboard. Usually I can scroll by just moving my finger up or down on the trackpad. But every now and then, I will have to actually press down on the trackpad to activate the “click” and then drag up or down in order to scroll. I’m tired of this happening. Is there anyway to fix it and make sure it doesn’t happen anymore?

You can go into Settings and use tap to click as well as press to click.

Settings > General > Track Pad >Turn on Tap to Click. This will let you click with a tap of your finger and you won't have to depress the track pad if you don't want.
