Is there anyway to adjust the trackpad so you don't have to press so hard for a click?
I'm use to a very light touch of a tap that will execute the cursor command. I hope so....this ***** as is.

You can go into Settings and use tap to click as well as press to click.
Settings > General > Track Pad >Turn on Tap to Click. This will let you click with a tap of your finger and you won't have to depress the track pad if you don't want.
