Sharing Music Library with multiple users on same Mac

I just bought a Mac Mini and set it up with separate user accounts for my wife and I. We use her Music Library and also like to stream from radio stations all over the world. The problem is that if I switch to my user account the music stops. I did find one previous post on this topic but it's from 2007 (Sharing library on iMac) so it's way outdated. How can we share her library such that we can switch user accounts without affecting the music?
