My mac book air will not start up. It shows a grey cracked globe image of the earth.

My mac book air will not start up. It shows a grey question mark. Tried starting in recovery mode but dosen't work. Bought in the air port in Germany 10 months ago. No support for apple in my country Nigeria. Any suggestions on how I can get support and maybe a possible replacement because from my research I think the hard drive is bad.
