2 Apple IDs?

I have an Iphone 7 for work, and a personal Macbook. At the moment I use the same Apple ID on them both. However , I would like to buy a personal Iphone and keep work separate.

Can I have 1 apple ID for work phone, and another Apple ID for personal macbook and Iphone?

I don't want them to merge.

thanks, L

Yes, you can have as many AppleIDs as you wish - each one just needs a unique email address or make an iCloud.com one on the new iPhone When setting it up. You can use family sharing between the two to share your purchases on the current one with the new AppleID.

Since you’ll have two iCloud accounts, email, notes, contacts etc will remain separate on each device.
