“Best” is a subjective quality dependent upon your specific viewpoint and needs.

Best for you, may not be best for somebody else. That said, Procreate is liked by many. Another good choice might be Affinity Designer.

Best is subjective and everyone is different and works differently.

I prefer Art Studio Pro and AutoDesk Sketchbook Pro, myself.

While Procreate is a popular and well known sketching/drawing/painting app, popular and well known does not equate to best.

Another great painting app is Paintstorm Studio.

There are lots of great sketching/drawing/painting apps in the iOS App Store.

For quick sketching/drawing/painting app with a minimal, but robust and quick and easy to use interface, I like both Tayasui Sketches and Moleskine Flow!
