"can't get core function pointer"

OK so this comes up each time I launch Logic, and every time I try and change the buffer or audio interface.

It seems to be plugin related, but how do I figure out which plugin? Do I literally need to remove every plugin and put them back in one by one? ****, what a pain..

Is there an easier way please?

Ok I solved this. I moved all my plugins out of the components folder in my library to a folder in my desktop, and put them back in the components folder groups... and then opening logic. For me it was I think an old izotope plugin but I left a bunch of older ones out so I'm not sure what it was.

it was a bit of a painful process but after like 20 minutes I had it fixed.

I get the same message! Nothing else, specifying what it might be.

Starting up gives me the spinning wheel, and the ticker text says something about validating plug-ins... from there on nothing happens until I force exit ... and that message comes up.

I have Catalina and Logic Pro X 10.5.1

... rolling back to 10.5 or 10.4.8 is made

impossible by Apple (!)* unless you are a back-up freak. That is really annoying, knowing that problems like these always follow OS updates. *Fix please, Apple!
