Weird website

So I was going on a website on google ( I was in private mode ) and there was a tab open that had a message that said “your device has been hacked” something like that, it also said that they were watching everything I do on it. I have an iPad, Is this real or just something else? The website was called device notice, I closed the tab. So I don’t really have any evidence, please help.

They were very nearly successful, too.

But you erroneously believe that they were trying to hack your device.

They were trying to hack you.

btw: Private mode is private against other local folks.

Private mode has comparatively little effect against remote websites and their tracking efforts.
