Songs not getting added to Ipod

I have a large library of 20254 songs, in iTunes it shows that, I'm adding them all to an Ipod but it's only copying over 20244 songs.. With such a large library I'm not sure how to determine what is not being moved over and I also don't know why it's not being moved over.

music videos
songs that are no longer ticked (checked) in your Library (and you selected the option to Sync only ticked songs and videos)
erroneous duplicate entries for songs (that is, two references to the same file, so iTunes shows the same song twice)

A bit of detective work by you is probably the only way you're going to find the discrepancy. With a Library that large, it's not surprising that there are a few errors. I perform constant maintenance on my library to eek out the errors. It's roughly the same size as yours.
